ITF European Championships 2024

The ITF Taekwon-do European Championships 2024 took place in Cardiff, Wales, between 18 and 21 July 2024. The Slovenian team participated with 2 competitors, 1 referee and 1 coach. A total of 15 countries participated in the championships. Gregory Bekkers, IV. DAN started the patterns competition with a win, but then lost in the medal match, Meta Špitalar, 2nd kup, after an excellent performance in patterns, came 2nd and won the silver medal. The coaching of both was in the hands of our head coach Barbara Meglič, IV. DAN, and all days the umpire was Robert Guštin, III. THE DAN. We leave home full of good impressions and with high motivation for the future. See you next year at the ITF Taekwon-do World Championships in Barcelona.
